No gifts please
We know many of you will be traveling from near and far to celebrate with us, and that truly means the world. Please, no gifts — having you there with us is more than enough.
The african sun
Don’t underestimate the South African sun. It’s strong, even when it doesn’t feel particularly hot.
Safety
Cape Town is a wonderful city and generally very safe for visitors, but as with any major city, it’s important to stay aware of your surroundings. We recommend using Uber Black to get around, avoiding walking at night, and being mindful when using your phone or carrying valuables in public. Stay aware, plan your transportation, and you’ll be well set to enjoy everything Cape Town has to offer.
